Owen “Huleo” Key, 55, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013, at the family residence.
He was the son of the late Havel Franks Key and Winfred Key. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Bullington, and his brothers: Timothy and Charles Key.
He enjoyed working in his vegetable garden. He was a very good artist including drawing and painting and he enjoyed woodworking. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mable Delk Key of Cleveland; his daughters: Danielle Key Conn of Cleveland and Lorrie Moree of Delano; his son, Jamie Hooper and his wife, Rachael, of Cleveland; his nine grandchildren; his sisters: Marian Gamble and her husband, Larry, and LaVenda Bandy; his brother, Dennis Key and his wife, Penny, all of Cleveland; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted this afternoon, July 28, 2013, at 2 from the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Sam Blankenship officiating.
Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Delano with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 11 until 2 this afternoon at the funeral home.
