This year's play, “Brothers O'Toole,” written by Tim Kelly and directed by Terrie Kirkpatrick is dedicated to the memory of Steve Kirkpatrick.
Steve is the late husband of Terrie Kirkpatrick. He died in a boating accident last summer while fishing in Alaska. For the past 17 years, he was instrumental in building the sets and providing costuming and props to all the plays at Ocoee Middle School. He donated every spare minute of his time to making sure the fine arts had a place at Ocoee Middle School and supporting all of his wife's endeavors in making the drama program a thriving one.
Terrie Kirkpatrick said Steve was her biggest supporter and champion to make sure every student at Ocoee Middle had the opportunity to be involved in the performing arts. There will be a special dedication made to Steve on March 15, opening night of “Brothers O'Toole” at Ocoee Middle School's Theater.
The Performance dates and times are March 15, 7 p.m., March 16, 7 p.m. and March 17, 3 p.m. The cost per ticket is $8 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the door of the OMS Theater.
