OMS Lady Colts pick up wins in volleyball against Baylor

The Ocoee Middle Lady Colts volleyball teams picked up a pair of wins, defeating Lake Forest on Monday and Baylor Tuesday.

The sixth-grade Lady Colts beat Lake Forest 25-17 and 25-10 with Laney Harris getting 11 service points and Carissa Frost picking up nine service points.

The seventh-graders defeated the Lady Bruins by scores of 25-6 and 25-8 with Mikayla Beasley notching 14 service points.

In eighth-grade action, OMS downed LFMS 25-17 and 25-21, with Savannah Edwards earning 10 service points.

Against Baylor, the seventh-graders beat the Lady Red Raiders 25-18 and 25-17 with Mikayla Beasley booking seven service points followed by Kaleigh Hughes with six.

The eighth-grade Lady Colts earned a sweep of Baylor with scores of 25-20, 19-25, and 15-10 in a big win, with Jordan Fox picking up eight service points. Hannah Grace Moore and Gaby Burse each booked service points.

The sixth-grade Lady Colts are undefeated with a record of 5-0, The seventh-grade Lady Colts stand at 6-1 and the eighth grade has a record of 8-2.

The Lady Colts will play at home today, starting at 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30 p.m. and Thursday night beginning at 5 and 6.
