New officers were installed at the Tennessee Federation of Garden Clubs State Convention in Knoxville April 11-12. Lelia Ware from the Aldersgate Garden Club was installed as District III vice director at the Tennessee Federation of Garden Clubs State Convention in Knoxville on April 11-12. The vice director serves on the executive board and assists District Director Maggi Burns in the work of TFGC, District III. In the absence or inability of the director to serve, she will assume and perform all duties pertaining to the office of the director. She will also perform such duties as may be assigned by the director. District III is one of four Districts in Tennessee and covers 16 counties. This appointment is a two-year term from April 1, 2013, through March 31, 2015.
