Ed Stuteville has been promoted to vice president of operations. He has more than 23 years experience with Hardee’s and J&S Restaurants Inc. and has worked in every level of operations within the restaurants. Most recently he served as director of training and also was responsible for the IT of each restaurant.
Stuteville was born in Louisville, Ky., but moved to Etowah at an early age. He is a 1978 graduate of McMinn Central High School. He and his wife, Kathy, whom he met in grade school, live in Charleston and are members of the Church at Grace Point. They have four children: Jon Heath, Nikki Heath Caywood, Army Sgt. Allison Stuteville Blackburn and Marine Cpl. Blake Stuteville. They also have three grandchildren: Kairi Blackburn, Crissie Caywood and Chloe Stuteville. Stuteville enjoys traveling, bowling and spending time with friends and family.
David Self of Englewood has been named regional director of operations for Region #1 of J&S Restaurants Inc. His area of management includes 18 restaurants located between Ooltewah and Lenoir City. David started his career with Hardee’s in 1982 as a manager trainee in Etowah. Later, he was promoted to district manager for the company. He and wife, Shannon, have two children: Rachel Sorrows of Englewood and Joseph Self who is in the U.S. Navy serving in Afghanistan. David and Shannon Self have one grandson: Asa Sorrows. The couple is active in the First Baptist Church of Englewood where David Self serves as a deacon and Sunday school director. He enjoys working in the yard and traveling.
Donnie Reeves of Trenton, Ga., has been named regional director of operations for Region #2 of J&S Restaurants Inc. His territory includes 18 Hardee’s Restaurants located from Chattanooga to Monteagle and also in North Georgia. Reeves has been a member of the Hardee’s team for more than 17 years and has worked as a general manager and a district manager before stepping into this position. Reeves is a native of Dade County, Ga., and graduated from Dade County High School. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Reeves and his wife, Kathy, live in Trenton where they enjoy working on their small farm. They attend Trenton United Methodist Church and are active in the church choir.
Ryan Shults has been promoted to director of training and directs the operations of six training stores through out the J&S system. He has more than 13 years of experience with the company and has previously worked as a general manager and sistrict manager. He is a graduate of Cleveland High School and he and his wife, Sheila, attend Big Springs Baptist Church. They have two daughters, Tori and Casey, who keep them busy with cheerleading and show/gospel choir at Lake Forest Middle School. Shults enjoys riding four-wheelers and spending time with family and friends.
Scott Lewis recently joined the J&S Restaurants Inc. staff as the human resources manager. He brings many years of experience in the field to J&S and he is a welcome addition to the staff. Lewis is a graduate of Cleveland High School, Cleveland State Community College and The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he received bachelor’s degrees in business administration and human resources management. Lewis and his wife, Darla, live in Cleveland and have one son, Aaron Cagle, who attends UTC. Lewis enjoys playing golf, Atlanta Braves baseball, and spending time with his family.
