Forty-four members sang to a full house at Elmcroft of Roswell, an assisted living community. While there, they gave out warm socks out to all of the residents for their “Toasty Toes” ministry. They also led two Sunday morning worship services at Dahlonega United Methodist Church.
Besides the choir singing in the service, senior Ansley McCarley shared a short message with the congregation on discipleship.
While in Atlanta, the choir also visited Stone Mountain, in suburban Atlanta, where they traveled by tram to the top and had a devotion, led by youth minister Adam Reuss. They also went to SkyZone, an indoor trampoline center and even dined at Atlanta’s legendary Varsity restaurant!
Their weekend was a huge success, and the group had fun sharing God’s love through their music and making lots of good memories and friendships.
