Mitchell Lyle Holloway, 47, a native of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014, in Titusville, Fla.
He was born in Knoxville, on May 5, 1966. He was of the Church of God faith. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1988 with a degree in hotel management. His work took him during his life to many parts of the United Sates. He was an avid lover and follower of the UT Vols.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Raymond Holloway and Martha Sue Lyle Holloway; and one brother, Dennis Ray Holloway.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory one sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Kim Stone; two nieces: Jessica Stone Mundy and husband, Ryan and Courtney Stone; one great-nieces, Kourtlenn Mundy; and two great-nephews: Malachi and Jonah Mundy; and numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A memorial service is planned for Friday, April 25, 2014, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, 2419 Georgetown Road, Cleveland, with the Rev. Gary Sears officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. on Friday until the 4 p.m. service time.
He will be laid to rest next to his parents and brother in a private ceremony in Fort Hill Cemetery.
