Mary Lou Cox, 79, of Cleveland, passed away, Monday morning, Nov. 11, 2013, in a local health care facility.
She was born on April 28, 1934, in Portsmith, Ohio, a daughter of the late Elmore and Vena McClellan. She has been a member of the Cedar Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church in Georgetown for more than 10 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 12 years, Charles Crawford; one daughter, Dixie Cox; and one sister, Eleanora McDonald.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory one sister, Kay Harris of Charleston; three brothers: Jerry McClellan, Carl McClellan and Larry McClellan; her children and grandchildren; several other extended family members and her many friends from the Waffle House who loved and supported her throughout the years.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at 3 p.m. at the Cedar Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church, 8408 Highway 60 in Georgetown.
