Marshall Ray Brock, 75, of Cleveland, passed away, Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at a Chattanooga hospice facility.

He loved to fish and enjoyed watching old westerns. He also enjoyed working in the garden, whittling and playing with his great-grandbaby. He was retired from Flowers Bakery and he never met a stranger, he was always talking to people.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Brock; parents, Marshall and Maggie Mull Brock; and brother, Frank Brock.

He is survived by his children: Tammy Barnett and husband, Robert, Daniel Brock and Nick Brock, all of Cleveland; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Ruby Armstrong of Cleveland.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, the funeral home.
