Maggie Lillie Mae Knight Sutton, 67, of Cleveland, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, in Nashville.
She was born in Rockwood to the late Charlie Clifford Knight and the late Annie Edna Shillings Knight.
She was married to the late Clarence William Sutton for 28 years. They had five children.
She was a homemaker and a devoted, loving and caring mother who always thought of her children before herself.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, William Tyler Watson; and grandparents: William T. Knight, Eliza A. Swift Knight, Harvey Shillings and Sarah Maggie McNally Shillings.
She leaves behind her children: Clifford Sutton, Janet (Shawn) Davis of Cleveland, Maggie (Mike) Evans of Spring City, Taylor (Vickie) Sutton and Charlotte (Jerry) Moats of Evensville; grandchildren: Amber Ryan and Autum Moats, Brett, Mikey Evans, Brandy Breeding, Christopher Wooden, Gertie Thompson, Brittany and Savannah Sutton, Cheryl Garrison; and great-grandchildren: Cadence, Liam and Paisley Moats, Lily and Riley Smith, Ansley Breeding, Landon Wooden and McKinley Garrison.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec 8, 2013, at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home Inc. in Dayton with the Revs. Scott Michaels and Ronald Ledford officiating.
The visitation will be held from 5 to 8 this evening and 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Smyrna Cemetery.
