Teens who are interested in the library’s activities for them, TAG, will meet Monday at 4:30 p.m. in the Young Adult Area also known as the Teen Zone. Come to suggest things you would like to see offered by the library and meet other teens. Pizza will be served.
The Career Coach will be in the parking lot Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Staff from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development Employment Security Division will be on hand to help you with resumé writing, job listings and computers for job searching. In addition to the Career Coach, the library is offering a Job Hunting Online class Feb. 7 and 9 from 3 to 5 p.m.
Another special computer class offered this week is Internet Safety for Parents. It will be held on Feb. 9 from 6 until 8 p.m. Learn ways to help keep the computer safe for your children and to monitor their activity. Register for all computer classes at the Non-Fiction Desk located on the second floor of the library.
The library will be closed Feb. 10 for Staff Training Day.
