Tennessee Christian Preparatory School’s Lady Hawks volleyball team came back from a two-game deficit to win against the Cleveland Christian Crusaders Saturday at Cleveland Christian.

The Lady Hawks dropped their first two games 27-25 and 25-18, and then won the next three 25-11, 25-15, and 15-9.

TC Prep was led by Hannah Chord with 17 service aces, 18 assists and two kills. Logan Hall had nine kills, and Natalie Calfee had six kills.

Catiana Potter had five service aces and two kills, while Karisa Armao had four kills.

Brooke Howard had four service aces for the day.

With the win, TC Prep improves to 5-4 overall.

Cleveland Christian entered into Saturday following two tough losses, one to SCAA conference rivals Oakwood Christian on Tuesday, and the latter coming at the hands of Polk County.

"The only run we could manage was toward the end of game one when Acacia had three straight aces. My ladies were never in this match," remarked Coach Mathis. "We need to right the ship quick. I’ve got a young and inexperienced team that has a ton of potential. I take responsibility for this last week of losses."

During their loss to Polk County, Acacia Thompson led the Lady Crusaders with three aces and a kill.

Emily Sexton had two blocks, while Hope Nix had a dig and an assist.

Savannah Morgan also had a block and a dig.
