Pat Knoechel of the Quilt-in-a-Day company will present a talk at the McMinn County Living Heritage on Saturday, from 2 to 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. A gifted teacher, Knoechel will demonstrate quick and easy methods to make the quilt blocks featured in the new Quilt-in-a-Day publications. Her presentations are geared toward all skill levels. Quilting tools, patterns and books will be for sale after the program. This program is sponsored by the Heritage Quilt Guild in conjunction with the McMinn County Living Heritage Museum. The McMinn County Living Heritage Museum works to preserve the community’s distinctive history and to share the rich heritage and unique culture of Southeast Tennessee.
