Johnathon Messer, 21, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 2013.
He was a 2010 graduate of Bradley Central High School and at the time of his passing was a student at Lee University studying psychology. He was employed with Check into Cash and was of the Church of God faith. He loved God and watching wrestling.
Survivors include his father, Johnny Messer; mother, Georgia Hindman; and two brothers, Ryan Messer and Josh Messer, all of Cleveland; three sisters: Holly Latham of Englewood and Stephanie Goodine and Carla Moody, both of Cleveland; grandmothers, JoAnn Messer and Anna Mae Ross; a special aunt, Nancy Messer, all of Cleveland, and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. today, Aug. 9, 2013, at Prospect Church of God with Pastor Timothy Gann officiating.
Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery with Josh Messer, Ryan Messer, Dennis Goodine, Quanza Smith, Roman Prok, Zeth Messer and Hernando Ramirez serving as pallbearers.
