John Marshall Fausch, 68, of Decatur, died Sunday, March 16, 2014, in an area hospital.
He was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., but had lived in Decatur for the past 16 years. He was a retired senior master sergeant with U.S. Air Force. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the American Legion Post No. 79.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Fausch, Decatur; son, Jerry (Ginny) Fausch of Universal City, Texas; daughters: Kimberlea (Dana) Emborsky of Waco, Texas, and Stephanie (Eddie) Fitch of Chattanooga; two sisters: Nina (Charles) Wolfe, Pewaukee, Wis., and Barbara (Gene) Thompson of Kansas, Okla.; two granddaughters: Raegan Fausch of Universal City and Fallon (Landry) Lee, Irving, Texas; great-grandson: Everett Lee, Irving; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Evangelist Tim Vermaas officiating.
Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
