Jo-Ann Holmes, 71, of Cleveland, passed away at her residence, Monday, July 16, 2012.

She was a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church.

She was a former seamstress at Hardwick Clothing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Payne and Beulah Lawson Payne; sisters: Virginia Conners and Helen Dill; and brother, Clyde Payne.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Holmes; children: Jimmy Holmes and Tony Holmes and wife, Sharon; grandchildren: Bailey Holmes, Parker Holmes, Landen Holmes, and Carson Holmes; sister: Barbara Witt; and brother: Billy Payne.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at the funeral home with Bishop Dustin Wilds officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release concluding the service.
