Jo Holloway, 72, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Holloway; parents, John Julian O’Daniel and Katie O’Daniel; brothers, John O’Daniel and Kenneth O’Daniel; and sister, Elizabeth O’Daniel Eaton.

She was a loving grandmother whose life was her grandchildren.

She was a longtime member of South Cleveland Church of God.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Vernon Holloway, of Cleveland; one daughter, Ginger Smith and her husband, Terry, of Cleveland; granddaughter, Krystle Fister and her husband, Anthony, of Cleveland; grandson, Chaz Smith of Cleveland; her sisters: Jean Kelley of Pensacola, Fla., Shirley Mitchell and her husband, Bob, of Havelock, N.C., Joyce Haddock and her husband, the Rev. Rabun Haddock, of Kenova, W.Va., Charlotte Samples and her husband, Larry, of Cleveland; one brother, Jack O’Daniel and his wife, Jo Ann, of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Gail O’Daniel of Sweetwater; and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28. 2012, at South Cleveland Church of God with Pastor Chris Moody, Pastor Carl Hobbs and Pastor Ken Bowers officiating.

Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Dustin Samples, Anthony Fister, Lynn Holloway, Phil Holloway, Jeff Samples, Tracy Mitchell and Travis O’Daniel serving as pallbearers. Her grandson, Chaz Smith, will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes.
