Jessie ‘Mama Jean’ Hoskins, 83, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014, in a local hospital.
She was retired from M&M Mars, where she worked as a contractor.
She was a member of the American Legion Post 81 Ladies Auxiliary and a parishioner of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Vernon Hoskins; son, Michael J. Hoskins; father, Clarence Beaver; mother, Delia Kelly Hicks; and stepfather, J.W. Hicks.
Survivors include her daughter, Patti L. Morrison and husband, William Morrison III, of Cleveland; four grandchildren: Michael Kelly Hoskins and wife, Tara, of Cleveland, Jennifer Deems and husband, Daniel, of North Port, Fla., Jamie Ashby and husband, Tyson, of Chattanooga and Brittany Stephens and husband, Ryan, of Charleston; 10 great-grandchildren: Hunter Hoskins, Blake Hoskins, Judith Deems, Brandon Deems, Buddy Villatoro, Savannah Villatoro, Gavin Ashby, Riley Ashby, Chase Stephens and Kinsley Jean Stephens.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Jim Vick presiding.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
