James Bradley Randolph, 92, a resident of Bradley County, passed away Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, in a Chattanooga hospital.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Largo, Fla., and was retired from the Federal Government with NASA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline M. Randolph; and parents, Frank Randolph and Matilda Dyer Randolph.

Survivors include one son, James B. “Randy” Randolph Jr. of Powell; one daughter, Sharon Stinnett of Old Fort; three stepchildren: Willene Pardue of Chattanooga, Martha Powell of Cleveland and Wilson A. Ledford Jr. of Chattanooga; and two grandchildren: Marshall Stinnett and Matthew Stinnett, both of Old Fort.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Rev. Marshall Roberson officiating.

Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.

A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
