Youth Aviation Adventures and the Community of One will hold an event at the Cleveland Regional Jetport from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Activities will feature the science, technology and history of aviation, light demonstrations and a lecture by one of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first groups of African-American fighter pilots.

A benefit singing for Danny and Sheila Farmer will be held Saturday at the Polk County High School Gym beginning at 5 p.m. The benefit is to cover medical bills and loss of wages for his family. He was been in the hospital since Dec. 19. There will concessions, silent auction and special singing by Recognized, the Liberty Boys, Mark Stinnett and the Farmer family.

A benefit singing will be held for Larry Sanders on Saturday, 7 p.m., at Christian Outreach Church, 205 Rabbit Valley Road, at 7 p.m. He has been out of work for six months. Crystal River will be the featured singers. There will also be a hot dog supper at 6 p.m.

Calfee Cousins breakfast will be held Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, at the Golden Corral Restaurant, 350 Stuart Road.

The Ocoee Region Beekeepers Association will hold its monthly meeting March 18, at 6:30 p.m. at the Benton Municipal Building, 6496 Highway 411, Benton. The meetings are open to anyone interested in beekeeping. The association’s purpose is to assist members and others interested in bees by providing an opportunity to discuss problems, learn the latest information, gain helpful advice and receive training for beekeeping.
