­Tennessee Health Care Campaign, a nonprofit organization invites the public to an informational workshop to learn about the Affordable Health Care Act. This workshop will be held at The Refugee, 1075 Blythe Ave., at 10 a.m. Tuesday. There will be a certified navigator present to assist with enrollment or to help you explore the 61 health insurance policies Blythe to Bradley County residents through the marketplace.

Cleveland Urban Area Transit System will be closed Monday in observance of President’s Day, and will reopen on Tuesday.

The Meigs County Republican Party will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Meigs County Courthouse in Decatur. All Republicans, especially those interested in being candidates for the May primary election, are encouraged to attend.

Bradley County Democratic Party’s monthly meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Bradley County Cleveland Public Library. Cynthia Humes, retired school teacher, will give a special presentation on black history. Bradley County Democratic Women will meet at 6 p.m.

The board of directors of the SPCA of Bradley County-TN will have its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Carmichael Room at the Cleveland/Bradley County Public Library. The meeting is open to the public.

The “Young at Heart” group from Big Spring United Methodist Church will meet at the Old Fort Restaurant, Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Film and Food tasting “Hungry for Change” will be held Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. at 5860 Bates Pike S.E.
