The Cleveland Media Association will meet Friday at the Cleveland Bradley County Public Library, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meagan Jolley, public relations manager for Rock City and Ruby Falls, will share how the two tourist attractions balance cooperation and competition. Big Spring United Methodist Church will have its monthly covered-dish dinner today, beginning at 6 p.m.

Youth Aviation Adventures and the Community of One will hold an event at the Cleveland Regional Jetport from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Activities will feature the science, technology and history of aviation, light demonstrations and a lecture by one of the Tuskegee Airmen, one of the first groups of African-American fighter pilots.

A benefit singing for Danny and Sheila Farmer will be held Saturday at the Polk County High School Gym beginning at 5 p.m. The benefit is to help cover medical bills and loss of wages for Danny’s family. He was been in the hospital since Dec. 19, 2013. There will concessions, a silent auction and special singing by Recognized, the Liberty Boys, Mark Stinnett and the Farmer family.
