The second annual Emergency Services Chili Cook-off, sponsored by Relay For Life and the Cleveland Daily Banner Team, will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Bradley Square Mall parking lot next to Kmart.

A fall bazaar will be held Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, 3425 Ocoee St. North. Come shop and stay for a lunch of homemade soup, half a sandwich and dessert from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., for a cost of $6.

The National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employee (NARFE) will have its regular meeting Thursday at noon, at Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, 3405 Peerless Road N.W., at the corner of Peerless Road and Norman Chapel Road. Dr. James Marcum, a board certified cardiologist with the Chattanooga Heart Institute and director of Heartwide Ministries, will be the speaker.

The Cherokee Hiking Club will meet Thursday at the Sugarloaf Picnic area near the first Ocoee Dam at 6 p.m. Bring a covered dish and a chair. A short business meeting will follow the potluck dinner.
