Hawk Run Challenge planned for March 16

TCPS is holding its second Annual Hawk Run Challenge on March 16 at 8 a.m.

Race-day registration and packet pickup begins at North Cleveland Church of God at 7 a.m., the day of the race.

The 10K begins at 8 a.m., the 5K begins at 8:15 a.m., and the 1 mile fun run/walk begins at 9 a.m.

All those who plan to enter are encouraged to register by March 11. Registration forms can be picked up and dropped off at TCPS or runners can register online at http://www.runnerreg. net/search/event. aspx?id=18583

The cost for this event is $25 for the 10K and 5K (before March 15). After March 15, the cost is $30. The cost for the 1-mile Fun/Run Walk is $15 (paid before March 15), and $20 paid after March 15.

Checks can be made payable to Tennessee Christian Preparatory School. The first 200 race participants will receive a high quality "Dri-Fit" type performance shirt. Awards are given for first-place male and female winners in various age categories.

The race will begin and end at the North Cleveland Church of God. Runners will enjoy running on a beautiful course that goes through Lee University and historic downtown Cleveland with level topo.
