The Cleveland native spent 25 years working as a chiropractic physician, and he chose to begin his second career in the Mullinax Lincoln sales department.
Following an injury and surgery that marked the close of his chiropractic career, Hathcock began the search for his next opportunity to serve Cleveland.
“I have missed the time spent caring for my patients and helping others. Now I am in the position to assist folks with their automotive needs,” he said. “
Cindy Mullinax Castelow [general manager] was actually the on-call nurse for our first-born child in 1993 and even helped with the delivery. Through our recent conversations, I realized that my love of all things automotive and my desire to help people would allow me to walk a new path at Mullinax Automotive.”
Castelow said she was “proud” to have him join the staff and looked foward to “many years together.”
“Since Lindsay began with us only a few short weeks ago, he has successfully worked with several customers to meet and exceed their automotive needs,” she said.
Hathcock enjoys time with his wife, Peggy, and their three children, attending South Cleveland Church of God and working with the local Civitan Club, a club with the mission “to build good citizenship and serve the needs of people with developmental disabilities.”
Mullinax Lincoln Automotive claims to be the oldest car dealership in Cleveland, having served Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia since 1964.
