Winford and Billie Howell of Cleveland, who married Jan. 3, 1963, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends on Dec. 31, 2012. The Howells have five children: Carey Howell and wife, Katie; Chipper Howell and wife, Penny; Tim Howell; Sherry Barber and husband, Jeff, all of Cleveland; and John Mckee of Marion, Kan. They have 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
