Jim and Jean Henderson are celebrating 60 years of love. On March 29, 1953, in a Methodist Church in Jonesville, Va., Jean Street became the bride of Jim Henderson in a ceremony officiated by her pastor and father, the Rev. Ogleva Street. The Hendersons have spent most of their married life in Cleveland raising three sons: Mike, David and Tim. Mrs. Henderson taught piano and was the pianist/organist at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church for 25 years, recently retiring as organist from First United Methodist Church. Mr. Henderson retired from Bowater after 38 years of service in the electrical department. The couple celebrated the anniversary with their family at a Chattanooga restaurant where they were surprised by a friend, the former County Executive Eddie Cartwright, who performed a renewal of their marriage vows. The anniversary couple took a trip to Whitestone Inn in Kingston.
