Hall, Bates take long trip for TGA Junior Tour event

BRISTOL — A pair of local young ladies made the long trip to the Virginia border Monday to play in the Tennessee Golf Association Junior Tour event at The Virginian Golf Club in Bristol.

Rheagan Hall of Charleston and Benton’s Danielle Bates both participated in the Girls 13-15 Masters Division.

Hall, who played for Cleveland Middle School this past spring, fired a 48-48 — 96 to capture third place in the division, finishing behind Haverly Harrold of Kingsport (84) and Clinton’s Jordan Gamble (89).

Bates, who played for Chilhowee Middle School, brought home fifth place honors with a 107, four shots back of Knoxville’s Caroline Cavin.
