A terrific young Country Gospel band, Glory Bound Travelers, will headline the free Cowboy Gospel Jubilee this Friday evening at 7.

“They’re a great band with that authentic country sound we appreciate down South,” said Will Nichols, producer of the weekly show.

“The steel guitar and their unique vocal stylings are enough to satisfy any country aficionado, but their evident love for Jesus is what gives life to the sound.”

Hailing from Rome, Ga., the Glory Bound Travelers group was founded by vocalist Eric Bohannan who also plays the acoustic guitar for the group. Ricky Nix shares the vocals and plays keyboard. Chad Smith plays the bass and Steve Cagle is on the steel guitar. Thomas Pigman is the group’s drummer.

Also appearing on the Jubilee are award-winning singer-songwriter Elmer Bramlett, Southern Gospel singer Amy McAlister, and the Cowboy Church Band and Chorale. Nichols is host and announcer.

The Cowboy Gospel Jubilee is held at the Cleveland Cowboy Church in the Dockery Heights community at 3040 Blythe Road, off Dockery Lane, between Blue Springs and Blackburn Roads.

Admission is free and a love offering is taken.
