“The History of Caney Creek Village” documentary will be shown on WTNB on Friday, at 8 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m. The documentary was written and produced by the Ron Moore family in 2012. It tells of the village on the Ocoee River which was occupied by workers of the Tennessee Power Company from 1912-43. The DVD and book can be purchased at The Museum Center at Five Points and The Hiwassee Heritage Center in Charleston.

Larry Hawkins will have a book signing Saturday for his new release, “The Misadventures of Joe Bradley Mullins.” The 293-page book is published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises LLC with the official release date Sept. 15. A book signing will be held Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at The Retreat at Spring Creek (25th Street) in the clubhouse. Contact Hawkins at larry5969@gmail.com.

Cleveland Dance and Performing Arts Center will hold a free dance class Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. Attendees will learn, perform and record for YouTube the dance choreographed by “So You Think You Can Dance” choreographers Tabitha and Napoleon. The recording will be eligible to be aired on the nationally televised “SYTYCD” show on Fox.
