Driving support for our local schools takes on new impetus with the purchase of a “Helping Schools” Tennessee license plate.
A vanity plate in the state of Tennessee costs $61. Vanity plates support a number of great causes, but the “Helping Schools” plate will bring $31 of the fee directly into the local school of the purchaser’s choice.
“It’s easy,” said Rebecca McIntire, president of BCPEF. “I walked into the Bradley County Courthouse, purchased the license plate and indicated the school of my choice. Immediately — benefits to local school children! I love it!”
The Bradley/Cleveland Public Education Foundation encourages like-minded Bradley County folks to support local schools by buying a new license plate for their automobile.
Donna Alley-Simpson, Bradley County Clerk, said t it is not necessary to wait until your current plate expires.
“Simply bring it in and we will apply credit to your new plate for the entire time remaining. What could be easier or more effective?” she emphasized.
The Executive Committee of BCPEF agrees.
