Edith Neely, 91, of Cleveland, passed away, Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, in a local health care facility.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Big Spring United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Quin Neely Sr.; parents, Henry and Pauline Smith Jamerson; son, Quin Neely Jr. and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her children: Jerry Neely and wife, Diane, and David Neely and wife, Brenda “B.B.,” all of Cleveland; grandchildren: David A. Neely and wife, Angie, Rodney Wayne Neely and wife, Gina, and Jason Tyler Neely and wife, Anna; five great-grandchildren: Ginger Neely, Jordan Neely, Tyler Neely, Katelynn and Kylie Neely; several nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.
The family would like to extend appreciation to Signature Healthcare of Cleveland for their wonderful care and concern.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at Grissom Funeral Home with the Revs. Shane Lawson and Sam Blankenship and Chaplain Carl Caffrey officiating
Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Brandon Wheeler, Nick Lawson, Tim Ledford, Chucky Torbett, Brandon Barefield and Chad Maxwell serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
