Crusaders split with Warriors

The Cleveland Christian School Crusaders split a pairs of basketball games with Rhea County Academy Thursday night in Southern Christian Athletic Association action. The Lady Crusaders walked away with a 57-15 win while the CCS boys dropped a 62-39 decision to the Warriors.

Acacia Thompson paced the CCS girls with 26 points in leading all scoring. Holly Sutton also had a big night for the Lady Crusaders with 21 points. Whitney White added eight points to the win and Hope Nix scored two for CCS.

Bo Martin led the Crusaders with 18 points, followed by Chris Reynolds with 11. Tanner Aguire scored eight and Matthew Mathis notched two points for the CCS boys.
