Cleveland State Community College will be hosting an open house on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon.

“We are the community’s college,” stated CSCC President Dr. Carl Hite. “This open house is the perfect opportunity to showcase what your college has to offer you. We hope everyone will take advantage of this and come see the programs and services that are available here at Cleveland State.”

Some of the sessions during the open house will include admissions, financial aid, athletics, dual enrollment, the Advance program for working adults, and many of the academic programs on campus, etc. Prospective students will also be able to go on a tour of the campus and participate in a mini fair that includes TN Achieves, dual enrollment, financial aid and many of the school’s clubs and organizations. Academic departments will be giving demonstrations during their sessions, as well.

“The open house is a unique Saturday opportunity for prospective students to hear about all Cleveland State has to offer, both for traditional and non-traditional students, stated Ashley Pettit, Enrollment Services specialist. “If someone has considered CSCC before, but didn’t know where to get the correct information or how to get started, this is the time to speak to faculty and staff from departments across campus.”
