The search is on for the 2013 Cleveland Cutie.
Most of us have an adorable baby in the family who fits that description. The annual search for Cleveland’s Cutie is being held in conjunction with the Cleveland Baby Fair.
The Cleveland Daily Banner, SkyRidge Medical Center and Mix 104.1 are partnering to identify Cleveland’s Cutie.
The Cleveland Baby Fair will be held April 7, 1 to 4 p.m., at the Museum Center at Five Points.
Those parents, grandparents and guardians who want to show off their little angel should plan to fill out an entry form being published in the Banner through March 13 in the Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday editions.
Once you’ve filled in the entry form, drop it off at the Banner at 1505 25th St., along with a photograph of the baby, whose age must range from birth to 18 months. A photo, not smaller than 4x6 or larger than 8x10, with the child’s first name and age should be submitted. The photo will not be returned.
The child’s parent or guardian will be asked to complete a media release to allow the photo to be published. The entry form and photo must be submitted in person no later than 5 p.m. March 15. There is no fee to enter the competition.
Once the deadline has passed, a full-sheet ballot page displaying the photographs will be published in the Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday editions from March 19 through March 31. Newspaper readers are asked to mark their ballot by filling out the form at the bottom of the page and mailing it back to us, or dropping it off in person.
If voting by mail, send it to Cleveland Daily Banner, 1505 25th St., Cleveland TN 37311. Banner readers will be asked to vote for their favorite picture. Only actual newspaper ballots will be accepted. No photocopies will be accepted. Ballot deadline is 5 p.m April 5.
The vote of the people will determine the winner of Cleveland’s Cutie. The winner, who must be in attendance, will be revealed at the Baby Fair April 7.
Cutie entrants must be residents of Tennessee.
The winner and runner-up will each receive a child’s savings account at the Bank of Cleveland and a gift card from Cooke’s Food Stores. Every entrant will receive a gift.
Go ahead make your little “cutie” Cleveland’s Cutie.
