Homecoming will be held at Council Baptist Church, 1415 Upper River Road, Sunday beginning at 11 a.m. There will be no evening service. Special music will be by the Hullander Family. Potluck lunch will be at 12:30 p.m.

Vacation Bible school will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church, 188 Old Georgetown Road N.W., Monday through Friday, 6 to 9 p.m., for kids Pre-K through fifth grade and also an adult class.

Eastview Baptist Church, NoPone Road in Georgetown, will have a special singing Sunday with “Commission” singing at 11 a.m. Lunch will follow in the fellowship hall.

New Liberty Baptist Church will have Bible school, “Investigation Destination,” Sunday, 6:30 p.m., through Wednesday.

Durkee Road Church of God of Prophecy will be hosting its monthly free Walk In Medical Clinic Saturday, at 201 Durkee Road N.E. The hours are 9 a.m. to noon. Anyone needing free transportation or information may call 423-472-4384. No appointments are needed.

The Old Paths will sing at Washington Avenue Baptist Church, 1720 Perry St., Sunday at 6 p.m.

The guest speaker at Fire On The Mountain will be Al Smith, former pastor of Faith Tabernacle, Chicago. The event is Monday at 7 p.m. at Mountain View Inn, 2400 Executive Park Drive N.W.

Vacation Bible School will be held at Georgetown Baptist Church Sunday through Friday from 6:05 to 8:45 p.m. There will be classes for all ages.

God’s Way Quartet will sing at Bound For That City Church, Saturday at 7 p.m.

The fourth Sunday gospel music program will be held Sunday at Victory Drive Church of God, 1401 Victory St. S.W., at 6 p.m. Several local singers will share their talents.
