The Ward family will sing at Galilee Baptist Church, 665 Old Chattanooga Pike, Sunday at 2 p.m.


Teresa Miller will speak at Lighthouse Ministries, 281 Ocoee St., Sunday at 6 p.m.


The Revolution Gospel Choir from Lake Forest Middle School will sing at East Cleveland Baptist Church, 1145 Arnold St. N.E. off Benton Pike, Sunday at 6 p.m.


The Rev. Kim Taylor will speak at Varnell Full Gospel Church, 214 Cedar Street at 11 a.m. Sunday. The singers will be the Joyful Sound.


Emmanuel will sing at Covenant Baptist Church, 249 Calhoun Road, Sunday at 6 p.m.

Souled Out Rally is

at Lighthouse Church

Lighthouse Church in Charleston is having its sixth annual Souled Out Rally, Saturday, 3 to 7 p.m., in the church parking lot.

They Came Running, a featured band from JFest this year, will be performing and the OCI dance team “Remnant of One” from Perry Stone’s church, plus others, will be there as well.

Admission is free.

There will be hot dogs, nachos, drinks and lots of fun. Bring a chair and enjoy the sunny weather with some awesome music.

The church is located near the Piggly Wiggly on Highway 11 in Charleston.

Goodwill Baptist plans

Bluegrass Gospel event

A Bluegrass Gospel evening is planned Saturday at Goodwill Baptist Church.

Beginning at 5 p.m., the evening will feature bluegrass gospel music with the New Beginnings, By the Way and the Liberty Boys.

The will also be hot dog and chili dinner, family fun and fellowship.

The church is located at 3270 Trewhitt Road S.E.

Berry, McCluskey to speak at HHE devotions

The His Hands Extended Ministries offers nondenominational devotions on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

This coming week’s speaker are Kent Berry on Tuesday and Jay McCluskey on Thursday.

The devotions are held from 7 to 7:30 a.m. at the Garden Plaza, 3500 Keith St.

The general public is welcome to participate.

Light Ministries holds weekly ministry sessions

Light Ministries Inc. will hold a School of the Prophets ministry development session each Saturday morning from 10 to noon.

The sessions are held at Wingate Inn Hotel, 110 Interstate Drive. Admission is free and open to the public.
