Christine L. Clark, 62, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 25, 2012, in a Chattanooga hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Geneva Thompson Clark and Burkett T. Clark.

She was retired from Magic Chef with more than 37 years of service.

She had a passion for animals, especially her cats, and she enjoyed reading. She was a loving sister, aunt, niece and a friend to all who knew her. She was a member of North Cleveland Church of God.

Survivors include her brother, James B. “Jim” Clark and his wife, Brenda, of Cleveland; her nieces, Allison Hayes and her husband, Matt, of Franklin, Nora Lisa Harris of Kansas City, Kan.; nephew, Jonathan Clark of Cleveland; five great-nieces and nephews; aunt, Blanche Clark Elrod, of Cleveland; uncles, Roy W. Clark and his wife, Ann, Wayne H. Clark and his wife, Nola, all of Panama City, Fla., the Rev. David E. Clark and his wife, Mazelle, of Cleveland; and her friend, Nancy Johnson of Cleveland; and many other friends.

The Remembrance of Life service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012, from the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Cy Harris officiating.

A graveside services and interment will be held at 11 a.m. this morning from the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
