The Ralph Buckner Foundation will again host a Christmas Celebration of Life for all those who have lost loved ones this year.

“Christmas is a difficult time of year for many who have lost a loved one, especially when the loss is recent. Everyone is welcome to attend regardless of what funeral home handled your funeral arrangements,” stated Chari Buckner, executive director of the RB Foundation.

She continued, Christmas Celebration of Life service is for all family members and friends, and is a chance to remember the lives of loved ones lost,” she said.

The Christmas Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday at 1 p.m., in the Lee University Chapel, beginning with fellowship, refreshments and food, followed by the service at 2 p.m.

Speakers will be Ralph Buckner Jr., chief executive officer of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, and the Rev. Max Morris. There will also be a musical performance by Danny Murray and the Voices of Lee.

“Please join us for this special event. It’s a moment to reflect on your loved ones, and the many special moments that make up your memories of them,” explained Chari Buckner.

The Ralph Buckner Foundation supports many philanthropic endeavors in Cleveland/Bradley County and the surrounding area, including scholarships at Lee University, Cleveland State Community College and Baylor High School in the name of Stella Buckner, Ralph Buckner Sr., and Shipley Buckner.
