READ ACROSS AMERICA is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on or near March 2, the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss. Charleston Elementary celebrated it on Friday, March 1, by having Walker Valley High School seniors including Samuel Dwork, Garrett Wallace, Jason Ware, Alexander Hooper and Neyland Raper read to kindergarten students from Ashley Clayton and Erica Shamblin's classes.
