The award winning Country Gospel duo, Calvary’s Blend, will headline the free Cowboy Gospel Jubilee this Friday at 7 p.m.

“Calvary’s Blend has been lauded from the state to the national level,” said Will Nichols, producer of the weekly show. “In 2011 they won ‘New Gospel Duo’ from the North American Country Music Associations International.”

Made up of Bryan Gibson and Cindy Clayton Jones from Soddy-Daisy, the two have been singing together since high school. They formed Calvary’s Blend in early 2009. They are slated to perform at the Riverbend Festival’s Family Faith Night this year.

Also appearing on the Jubilee is award-winning singer-songwriter Elmer Bramlett, Southern Gospel singer Amy McAlister, and the Cowboy Church Band and Chorale.

Nichols, known as “The Gospel Gun,” is host and announcer.

The Cowboy Gospel Jubilee is held at the Cleveland Cowboy Church in the Dockery Heights community at 3040 Blythe Road, off Dockery Lane, between Blue Springs and Blackburn Roads.

Admission is free and a love offering is taken.
