The awards just keep on coming for Lee University baseball coach Mark Brew.

For the seventh straight year, Brew received the ABCA/Diamond Regional Coach of the Year and the NAIA/Rawlings Regional Coach of the Year honors. Both awards were presented at the American Baseball Coaches Association National Convention in Dallas on Jan. 3.

The Lee skipper returned to Cleveland and was presented the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association College Coach of the Year award Jan. 11. It was also the seventh straight year he has carted home this award.

Brew is getting ready for his eighth season as head coach of the Flames. His club finished 51-12 last season and advanced to the NAIA College World Series for the seventh consecutive year, placing third. His overall record as Lee’s head coach now stands at 377-89-1.

The Flames open the 2014 season Feb. 1, hosting Emmanuel College.
