At the first “2nd Sunday @ 2,” Kathryn Primm, DVM, will discuss her book, “Tennessee Tails: Pets and their People,” today in the Community Room of the Cleveland Bradley County Public Library.

AARP Smart Driver class is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday at SkyRidge Medical Center (Westside Campus), beginning at 8:30 a.m. The class is designed for people over age 50 as a refresher course and could save money on car insurance. On Thursday, Friends of the Library Association will host the Book and Coffee review on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Craigmiles-Johnston House History Branch Library. Richard “Tiger” Jones will review Jay Parini’s biography, “One Matchless Time: A Life of William Faulkner.” Books and Coffee reviews are open to the public and usually last one hour. FOLA provides the coffee. A Behind the Scenes library tour will take place at 4 p.m., also on Thursday, and the Lego Club starts up again for those ages 8 to 12 in the Community Room.

Tween Book Chatter (ages 7 to 12) will be choosing a cookbook and making a healthy recipe to share with the group on Friday at 4:30 p.m. at the library.

a free introduction to couponing will be held at the library Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Community Room. The session will begin with the basics including when and where to shop, how to find and organize your coupons, and strategies for stockpiling to save up to 50 percent on your household expenses! Call the Non-Fiction desk to reserve a spot — limited to 50 people. Also, the Pokemon Club (ages 7 to 12) will meet at 11 a.m. in the Children’s Activity Room at the library.

Fitness Plus will welcome adults and show them how to get moving with low-impact exercises taught by YMCA instructors in the library’s Community Room on Jan. 22 at 10:30 a.m.

New exhibit “Stitches In Time — Hand Quilting” opens with a members-only opening reception on Jan. 23 at 6 p.m. It will open to the public on Jan. 24. The simple yet intricate art of hand quilting will be explored with 25 antique quilts finished prior to 1950, as well as 25 contemporary hand-quilted quilts.

Teens will be doing Zumba session at their “After Hours” on Jan. 25 at the library.

10th Annual Grape Escape will be Jan. 26 at Cafe Roma in historic downtown Cleveland. Silent Auction begins at 5:30 p.m. Come for an evening of great food with selected wine pairings and a fun auction of wine and related items. A limited number of tickets is available. TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) local chapter meets
