The 2014 Equestrian Season is kicking off at Tri-State Exhibition Center Friday through Sunday, with the return of the RUSH Management Hunter/Jumper Series. Riders and horses from across the Southeast are competing in the event. You’ve likely seen them on TV, especially during the Summer Olympics, riding through a set course and jumping obstacles on their elegant horses with braided manes and tales. The riders and trainers spend years perfecting their skills and handling of their horses, and are judged on speed, agility, vaulting and more. From beginner to advanced, this show has three rings of activities most of the weekend, so there is usually something to watch. The event is free to the public.
