Cleveland High School’s Run for Cover 5K glow run to benefit People for Care and Learning will take place Saturday, March 1, at 7 p.m.

A Cleveland Daily Banner article in Wednesday’s edition provided an incorrect date.

Those interested in joining the nighttime fun can register an hour prior to the run for $30 at the Raider football field and track.

Runners, joggers and walkers alike will head out from the track at 7 p.m. toward Tinsley Park. Signs and volunteers will indicate when to turn around. Participants are encouraged to be creative with personal glow paraphernalia. Everyone will receive one glow stick.

All money raised will go toward PCL’s Build a City project in Cambodia. Athena Davis’ Holocaust Literature Class and Melissa Adams’ Sports Marketing class raised $2,000 through last year’s 5K. The money funded the construction of two homes in Cambodia. The students hope to surpass the $2,000 mark this year.
