Each year the group has included the park on the tour remembering their 9,000 Cherokee ancestors who camped and crossed at Blythe Ferry on their forced removal called the Trail of Tears.
“Our ride will demonstrate to all Americans that we remember those who suffered along this journey and that we honor their lives,” commented a member.
Four days will take them from Cherokee, N.C., to Tahlequah, Okla.
