Fannie Mae Seymour, 97, passed away peacefully on Dec. 19, 2018. She was a faithful member of White Oak United Methodist Church for 72 years, where she taught kindergarten for many years. She also worked in the office at W. T. Grant Company. She loved to crochet and her talented handwork became widespread as she shared with family and friends. She and her husband “Paw-paw” took many fun trips, went to recitals, athletic games and school functions. After retirement Fannie Mae and Jack spent winter months in Englewood, Fla., loving the sand and the sunsets. Survivors include her two sons, Jack (Kay) Seymour, and Ron (Cathy) Seymour; four grandchildren, Mark (Darla) Seymour, Cindy and Doug Moore, Emily (Travis) Shears, and Katie (Freddy) Edgemon; as well as her seven great- grandchildren.
