Winston Delmas Payne, 83, of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at his home. He was born October 1, 1935 to the late William Frazier Payne and Ida Leora Davis Payne. Winston listened to the Lord’s calling and became a minister early in life and was a devoted church member at New Liberty Baptist Church. He had the honor of being song leader for over 50 years. Winston loved gospel singing and is favorite song was Amazing Grace. He always wanted to travel to Israel and got the opportunity a few years back and while there was baptized in the River of Jordan. more
