Anita Jo Norton, 63, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2018 with her loving husband David by her side. Anita loved the Lord, spending time with her family (especially her grand babies), and taking care of her flowers. C.M. “Mike” Barnes, age 69, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. Born on December 24, 1948 in Athens to the late Gene and Blanche Cantrell Barnes, he spent the majority of his life in Cleveland and was of the Baptist Faith. Mike was a Vietnam veteran serving his country in the Marine Corps. He was an avid collector and enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. more
