Camellia Sue Meridieth, age 78, a resident of Hapeville, Georgia, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 in an Ooltewah health care facility. Mrs. Meridieth was the daughter of the late Eva Christine Snellings and Lewis Samuel Fordham Her husband, Carl Howard Meridieth and her sister, Margaret Nelson also preceded her in death. Mrs. Meridieth worked in various professional capacities throughout her life including the operation of a day care, management of the Hapeville public swimming pool, and service to the city as a school crossing guard. However, her primary role was a homemaker. Her family and her church were her life! She never met a stranger and witnessed to others about the Lordalmost every day. Camellia loved everyone fully by ministering to the “least of these” without regard to social status, stage of life, or spiritual maturity. Mrs. Meridieth was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of the Church of God all of her life and she was a member of the Fayette Family Church in Fayetteville, Georgia. more
